Application Requirements



Application Requirements for Travel Nurses To Include the Following:

  • A copy of your current ID
  • References with current contact information - friends, coworkers, relatives, etc.
  • Proof of income / employment (contract with employer)
  • If you have bankruptcies, credit issues, evictions, or times when you were not returned your security deposit in the past, please include a description of the situation. 
  • If you have a pet that would also like to apply, we will need veterinary records (proof of vaccinations, flea treatment, etc)

  • A signed completed application
  • A copy of your current ID
  • A copy of your free credit report or $35 - http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0155-free-credit-reports - You can save your report as a pdf, mask your SS#, and email it to me.

  • Proof of income / employment

First Floor 2-Bedroom Unit (Washington Ave)



Two bedrooms, 1 bathroom, large kitchen, living room, and a washer and dryer located right in the basement with easy interior access make it super convenient.  We have recently refinished the hardwood floors, cozy gas heat, new sound-dampening insulation in the ceilings, and brand new full sized closets.

The apartment is conveniently located in Old Southwest Roanoke, 1 and 1/2 miles on the Greenway to Carilion, 7/10ths of a mile to JCHS.  Right in between downtown and Towers Shopping Center, you really are 10 minutes to everywhere in town! The best part though, is that you can bike up Mill Mountain to the Blue Ridge Parkway without ever getting in a car. I wish I could include being fit enough to do that as part of your lease!

Monthly rent includes water/sewer, trash, recycling. Due to water usage differences, reduce advertised rent by $25 if you are a solo tenant.

Electric is about $66.00 a month most of the year, except when it is particularly hot out. For the 2015-2016 cycle, gas average was $46.00 / month. Cox High Speed Monthly Internet was $82.00  Water is included in the rent at $25 per adult, so reduce $25 from advertised rent if you are a solo tenant.

Winter:
Old houses may have lots of charm and space, but they aren't as weatherproof as newer. A good set of curtains, closing your storm windows, and making sure there are adequate seals on the windows and doors, etc can really affect this bill.
